Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is full of praise for manager Frank Lampard.

The Dane is grateful to Lampard for allowing Chelsea's foreign players to return home during the UK's coronavirus lockdown.

He told Viaplay: "It means a lot. He has tried it himself and knows how it is. He understands us players, and that has come to light in this situation.

"He could have easily said that we should sit and be bored in our home, but we have all been allowed to go home, and that is because he knows what it is like. He has full understanding of what we can go through.

"If there are problems, we just have to get to him. He talks a lot in these times. It is more for the whole team than it is for the individual players.

"It is difficult to find any major weaknesses. He has all the cards in hand."
