Chelsea defender Nathan Ake hopes to make their Europa League final squad.

The final will be staged in Amsterdam next week between Chelsea and Benfica.

"I did not expect that I would play so often. I've already had many minutes in important matches and it is very nice at the moment. With all the minutes, I'm happy and I know its good for my development," said Ake.

"The final is in the Netherlands. This makes it even more special. Hopefully we win it."
