Chelsea's youngsters picked up an impressive away win against Peterborough in the EFL Trophy.

Two straight EFL Trophy braces for Malik Mothersille and goals from Cesare Casadei and Ben Elliott were enough for the Blues' development squad.

The young Chelsea side put in a terrific attacking display, showcasing their talent to move onto the next stage of the Papa Johns Trophy.

Peterborough did put up a fight in the contest, scoring in the first half to make it 2-1 to Chelsea.

However, the Blues extended that lead on the stroke of half time, before Peterborough pulled another goal back through Jack Taylor.

Eventually, Ben Elliott's goal was enough to see the game beyond Peterborough.
