Chelsea chief Petr Cech says Mikel Arteta deserves more time at Arsenal.

Former Gunners goalkeeper Cech says Arteta needs more time and hopes his players start stepping up to help him.

He has called on the Gunners hierarchy to stick with the Spaniard.

He said: "At the moment when you hit the wall this is the moment you need everybody to pull in the same direction and help you out.

“This is the hardest part in football because it's easy to suddenly say this is not working & do something else but you cant do that all the time."
