Chelsea skipper John Terry is ready to end his England exile.
The Sun says last week he snubbed FA chairman David Bernstein's handshake at the Champions League trophy handover in London.
But, as Bernstein steps down, 78-cap Terry now wants to return to the international set-up and have one last hurrah at next summer's World Cup.
England are struggling to qualify automatically for Brazil 2014 and face crunch games in September and October which will decide their fate.
Terry saw how England were scrabbling around for centre-backs in the World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro last month and feels he can play a part again.
