Chelsea captain John Terry would like to see Carlo Ancelotti return to the Premier League.

The former Chelsea boss was sacked by Real Madrid yesterday.

"It's very sad [Ancelotti's sacking]," he told talkSPORT. "I was very close with Carlo both on and off the pitch.

"He's a close second to Jose, in terms of my favourite manager. With what I've won under Jose, he just edges it.

"Carlo is a fantastic manager and an unbelievable man-manager. I'd love to see him back in the Premier League and winning things."
