Chelsea skipper John Terry says he still wants to play for "a few more years".
Terry has penned a new deal to the end of next season.
"Firstly I was delighted to play every single minute of the Premier League season," said Terry.
"Especially as at my age you tend to get written off as well. So it was nice on a personal note to play in all of the games. I don't know what my fitness is down to, but the manager and the staff played a big part in the way we train.
"I feel I've also benefited from the couple days rest during the international breaks. So the manager and staff deserve a lot of credit, and me also for staying fit and keeping my form and place in the side.
"I am hoping that is going to continue for a few more years yet. I am hoping to finish my career at Chelsea and I hope I can do that under this manager."
