Chelsea captain Azpilicueta: I don't remember what happened

Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta is thankful to the club's supporters this week.

The Spaniard was knocked unconscious after a collision with Southampton striker Sekou Mara in their 1-0 Premier League loss last weekend.

The 33-year-old did recover from the incident, but needed up to ten minutes of medical care at the time.

Now he has revealed that he heard Chelsea fans singing his name after he woke up.

In a video released from the club's training ground, he states: “I'm feeling okay.

“Great to be back after being discharged from the hospital and coming to say hello and watch training.

“It was scary. Mostly for the people around and for my family.

“You know, the last thing I could remember was when the corner was going to be kicked."
