Chelsea boss Tuchel to hand Broja big first team chance

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel plans to hand Armando Broja a chance to establish himself as a first teamer next season.

Football.London reports the 19-year-old will be given an opportunity to impress Tuchel ahead of potentially earning a place in the squad next season.

Broja had a stunning loan spell with Vitesse Arnhem.

He netted 11 times in the Eredivisie and was one of the top scoring teenagers in Europe's top leagues.

There have also been claims that the Blues are ready to give Broja a new long-term deal at the club, with high hopes about his future in the game.

Placing that kind of pressure on a youngster could backfire, but the confident striker has already opened up on his appetite to be the best he can be.

Rather than shy away from lofty comparisons, Broja himself admitted that he wanted to emulate and eventually surpass Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.
