Chelsea boss Pochettino in middle of ugly media spat

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino was caught in the middle of a row between two unlikely parties.

The club's former stadium announcer and the club's press officer appeared to have a verbal tussle.

The latter was accused of “s*** management of a press conference" after Chelsea's 6-0 win over Everton.

Pochettino was unhappy at being asked a question repeatedly about his players arguing over a late penalty in the game.

Neil Barnett, Chelsea's former pitchside announcer, took issue with the club's press officer.

“You stopped the press conference," he replied.

Pochettino continued: “Every question was in this way [about the penalty incident]."
