Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has dropped his interest in Radamel Falcao to focus on Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa. Mourinho wants to buy a new striker in January and has been linked with AS Monaco centre-forward Falcao.

But AS says he prefers Brazilian Diego Costa due to the Atletico ace's outstanding work ethic.

Mourinho feels Diego Costa's all-action style is better suited to his system than Colombian Falcao's more laid-back approach.
