Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has urged former club Porto to stick with Julen Lopetegui.

Mourinho has told his Porto fans that they should get behind Lopetegui, despite missing out on the title this season. "Why not? Why should he not be able to get a second chance, would anyone else do better? " asked Mourinho, speaking with CMTV.

"Stability ensures that a club is stronger. I know president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa is very good and he has sometimes changed the coach, but he only does what in his eyes is best for the club.

"If he thinks that the current coach should be retained, what is there against it?"
