Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is determined to try again for Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney. The Daily Star Sunday says Mourinho will make a £35m swoop for Rooney in the New Year.
Despite Roo's fine start to the season - with both United and England - the striker's long-term future at Old Trafford is still unclear.
Rooney, just 28, has little more than 18 months left on his United contract - yet, as of now, his advisors insist they have heard nothing about extending his stay beyond June 2015.
