Chelsea boss Mourinho made FOUR bids for Norwich keeper Ruddy

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was so desperate to sign Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy he made FOUR offers for him.

The Sun says Mourinho initially bid £5million for Ruddy, 26, and ended his pursuit when a package of £7m cash and £2m in add-ons plus a loan player worth £1m was rejected.

Mourinho instead recruited Mark Schwarzer, 40, for free as back-up to Petr Cech.
