Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho helped Southampton land manager Mauricio Pochettino last season, it has been revealed.
The Sunday Express says Mourinho helped broker Pochettino's shock move to Southampton after being impressed with the Argentinian's work at Espanyol.
He also pointed Middlesbrough in the direction of his former Real Madrid assistant Aitkor Karanka when they were searching for a successor to Tony Mowbray.
