Chelsea boss Mourinho expecting HUGE summer market of spending

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho expects a massive transfer market this summer. Mourinho is only looking to make three or four acquisitions and is not going to get sucked into a bidding war with the other clubs.

He told the London Evening Standard: "The market is difficult. I can imagine this summer it will be like Wall Street collapsing because some clubs are coming with such a determination they will disrupt the market and take it to unexpected directions.

"But we are in good situation because we have stability in our squad, we don't need dramatic changes, we have to be loyal to our players, we believe in them.

"What other clubs are going to do is not going to affect our direction. If the other clubs buy 10 players each, that is not going to push us to do things we are not going to do. We are stable.

"Last season we had stability to study what was needed to improve the team. This season we are having stability to keep our squad, but give some extra motivation to them and a couple of extra options.

"Every player is linked to our club. Some because they want to come, some because they want better contracts with their clubs, that's the nature of the market. We are not going to play the game of 'we want this one or this one is not true'.

"It doesn't affect us. It is what it is. We know what we want and it's not much."
