Chelsea boss Roberto di Matteo defended his team selection for defeat at Manchester City.
After scoring two and creating two against Leicester on Sunday, Fernando Torres was given the nod to lead the line with Didier Drogba starting on the bench, and with such a gruelling fixture list on the horizon, Di Matteo acknowledged that the whole squad are well aware of the importance of rotation.
"I started with Torres for the dynamic of the team, he had a very good performance on Sunday and that was the decision, but there was no problem with Didier," said Di Matteo.
"I have to assess the team tomorrow morning, see how the players are and then we will think about Saturday."
