Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is ready to give Todd Kane a chance this season.

The People says the 23-year-old penned a new three-year deal with the club last week.

But Conte will resist sending him out on loan in January.

It's suggested the Italian is keen for the full-back to remain with the squad.

Kane is recovering from a knee injury but spent time on loan at NEC Nijmegen last term.

Despite being highly rated by the club, he is yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea since earning his first professional contract back in 2011.
