Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez refused to consider their title chances last night. The Blues missed the chance to close the gap on the Manchester clubs as they surrendered a two goal lead against Southampton on Wednesday night and any thoughts of a challenge appear forlorn.

But Benitez will not say one way or the other.

"My idea is always to think about the next game," he said. "I said before the other day in the press conference I don't watch the table every day. It's just to be sure we can get three points in the next game. The ambition is to get three points in the next game against Arsenal."
