Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas would love a reunion with Porto star Joao Moutinho.
The Telegraph says Villas-Boas has pushed the club to make a bid for Porto midfielder Moutinho.
But, it is believed, he accepts that the 40 million (£35 million) release clause for the Portuguese international is too high.
Meanwhile, the signing of Barcelona B's 19-year-old Oriol Romeu for £4.3 million means Chelsea will drop their interest in West Ham United's Scott Parker.
