Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is furious with defender Alex.

The Daily Star says Ancelotti will grill crocked defender Alex after he was a substitute for Brazil on Wednesday night - just hours after he was ruled out for the rest of 2010.

Chelsea were shocked to find the central defender named on Brazil's team-sheet for the 1-0 defeat against bitter rivals Argentina.

The Stamford Bridge club announced on Tuesday that Alex needed knee surgery and would miss up to eight weeks.

Chelsea want to hear the former PSV Eindhoven star's version of events before deciding whether to take the issue further.

Despite his injury, Alex - who is expected to have the operation in the next few days - took part in light training and the pre-match warm up in Qatar.
