The Mirror says Arsenal are battling it out with Chelsea for Real Mallorca's 18-year-old midfield prospect Asensio.
The Spanish press have reported Real Madrid are in the box seat if Mallorca decide to sell but they claim the two English clubs are watching developments with interest.
