Chelsea are still hoping they can offload Andre Schurrle to Wolfsburg this winter.
The Blues are determined to secure the signature of Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado before Monday night's deadline but will need to get rid of Schurrle in order to do so.
Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are showing significant interest in the Germany international but would have to pay around £24million to land his services.
Recent reports emanating in Italy suggest that Cuadrado has packed his bags for London ahead of a £25m move to the Premier League leaders but not before the Blues sell former Bayer Leverkusen ace Schurrle.
