Chelsea are on red alert over the potential availability of Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos. Radio Marca says Real are ready to sell Ramos as early as January after becoming fed-up with a series indiscretions, including a disparaging press interview given last weekend.
Real have dropped plans of handing Ramos a lifetime contract - which was due in December - and are now ready to sell the Spain international.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is a big fan of Ramos and has attempted to sign the defender over the last two summer transfer windows. AC Milan are also keen, with Ramos' brother and agent, Rene, exploring offers from abroad.
