Atletico Madrid are convinced of reaching an agreement with Chelsea today over the signing of Diego Costa.

Despite some concerns in Madrid that a deal is off, Okdiario reports Atletico and Chelsea are close to reaching terms.

Atletico and Chelsea will settle on a €33m fee, with Costa loaned to a LaLiga rival for the first-half of the season. Las Palmas and Deportivo La Coruna are the most likely destinations.

Chelsea accept selling Costa today is the best solution, as the striker's relationship with manager Antonio Conte and club management is completely broken.
