West Ham boss David Moyes is prepared to move on Winston Reid this month.

The Mirror says Reid has turned down a loan move to Charlton – as he wants to help the Hammers avoid the drop.

The West Ham fans' favourite has been battling to recover from a knee injury for the past 18 months, but is fast approaching full fitness.

Boss Moyes dropped a hint earlier this month about the centre-back playing again in the first team and now that looks a reality after he snubbed a temporary switch to the Addicks.
