Charlton end Huddersfield unbeaten run

Huddersfield Town's 43-match unbeaten streak is over.

Their unbeaten league run ended in a 2-0 defeat at Charlton Athletic.

Lee Clark's men had their eyes sight on breaking Arsenal's all-time unbeaten 49-match run of the 2003-04 years when Arsene Wenger's invincibles created history.

The League One leaders produced stern opposition for Lee Clark's Terriers though, and goals from Yann Kermorgant and Hogan Ephraim denied Huddersfield the chance of breaking Arsenal's run.

Chris Powell's Charlton side are now seven points clear at the top of the table as they remain yet to taste defeat at the Valley this season.
