Charlton boss Chris Powell has played down speculation linking him with moves for Hogan Ephraim of QPR, Colchester's Anthony Wordsworth and Alan Judge of Notts County. QPR winger Ephraim had a spell on loan at The Valley last season.
But he said: "We are always going to be linked with Hogan. Wordsworth we seem to be linked with all the time. He's a player we came across last season, but I haven't seen him this year.
"Judge is a story drummed up that came up over the weekend, but I haven't spoken to anyone at Notts County about bringing him here.
"So it's fact or fiction time and it's going to be like that for the next week. I suppose it will only be fact once I welcome a new signing through the door."
