Championship side Hull City are planning a move for Charleroi defender Sebastien Dewaest this summer.
Following their bitter relegation from the Premier League, Hull have been forced to release a host of their first team players and manager Steve Bruce currently possesses a very light squad at his disposal.
Therefore, Bruce will be looking to tap into the transfer market in order to strengthen his squad and according to reports emerging out of Belgium, it has been claimed that the Hull boss is eyeing a move for Dewaest.
Dewaest enjoyed a fruitful campaign in the Belgian Pro League last season and is said to be available for a fee as little as £1.7million.
That said, Hull will face competition in the race to sign Dewaest as Belgian giants Anderlecht have also expressed their interest in signing the 24-year old.
