Championship trio, Dutch clubs keen on Swindon's Luongo

Swindon Town midfielder Massimo Luongo is attracting plenty of interest as the English League One season draws to a close.

The 21-year old Australian has had an impressive campaign with the Robins in England's third tier, making 52 appearances in all competitions, which has prompted curiosity from some sides in the Championship.

Reports suggest that Brighton & Hove Albion, AFC Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town are all keen on Luongo, who permanently joined Swindon from Tottenham in August 2013.

It is also believed that a few sides in Holland are keen but Luongo is targeting a stay in the UK as he strives to make Australia's World Cup squad.

"I have a couple more seasons left at Swindon and I am enjoying it here. The style of football suits me but like any player I want to play at the highest level I can," said Luongo.

"I had a taste of the Championship (on loan) at Ipswich a while back when I was still at Tottenham and if the chance came I would look at it. But right now it's all about Swindon and hopefully Australia."
