Champions League qualifiers for season 2013/14 are moving along nicely with a number of second legs taking place on Tuesday night.
French club Lyon are into the non-champion pot of the play-offs after beating Grasshopper 1-0 in Switzerland courtesy of Clement Grenier's 82nd minute goal to win 2-0 on aggregate.
Joining them in the league pot is Turkish side Fenerbahce who came from behind to account for Red Bull Salzburg 3-1 (4-2 on aggregate) thanks to goals from Raul Meireles, Moussa Sow and Pierre Webo following Jonathan Soriano's early opener.
Into the champions pot is Swiss club FC Basel who came through after a 3-3 draw with Maccabi Tel Aviv to win 4-3 overall and Romanian champ Steaua Bucharest who drew 1-1 with Georgian club Dinamo Tbilisi to win the two-legged tie 3-1.
Elsewhere, Slovenia's Maribor are also into the champions pot of the play-offs after edging Cyprus' APOEL Nicosia on away goals following last week's 1-1 draw and the scoreless draw on Tuesday, Kazakhstan's Shakhter Karagandy survived a 3-2 loss to beat Albania's Skenderu Korce 5-3 on aggregate and Bulgaria's Ludogorets Razgrad got the better of Partizan Belgrade 1-0 (3-1 on agg).
Currently in the non-champions pot sits Arsenal, AC Milan, Schalke, Real Socided and Pacos de Ferreira ahead of the final play-offs which will commence in the week of August 19.
Wednesday night sees Celtic take on Elfsborg in Sweden (1-0 after first leg), Austria Vienna head to Iceland's FH (1-0), Zulte Waregem at home to PSV Eindhoven (0-2) and Zenit St Petersburg host Nordsjaelland (1-0) among other fixtures.
