Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has admitted that watching the weekend's Champions League final was the hardest thing he has to do in football.
The Serbian was suspended from Saturday's decider against Bayern Munich, which the Blues won 4-3 on penalties after extra-time ended 1-1, and he suggests it was a very difficult thing to experience.
"I was so nervous that it was hard to watch. The hardest was in extra-time and at penalties.
"If you play, you do your job. If you sit in the stadium, you are powerless. You can just watch what is going on, you can't help your team.
"But in the end everything was superb so I was as happy as a child.""Many times it is said that some matches are harder to watch than play, and I would say that the Champions League final is at the top of the list," he said.
