Cesc open to future Chelsea captaincy

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas would welcome the chance to take the club captaincy in the future.

Former Arsenal skipper Cesc is enjoying career best form this season under Blues boss Jose Mourinho.

"There are a lot of strong characters and John Terry still plays and could do so for a number of years.

"But if they ask me, why not? It's just not something I'm very busy with.

"When I was with Arsenal, being captain was not very different to not doing it. Also at Barcelona, I just said what needed to be said."
