Former Tottenham goalkeeper Cesar Sanchez is staying with Valencia.
Las Provincias says Valencia were in advanced talks last night over a two-year deal with Cesar's agent, Jose Segui.
"We are very close to an agreement," said Segui.
Meanwhile, Valencia midfielder Edu is close to an agreement with Brazil's Corinthians.
