Cernak eyeing positive season with North Queensland Fury

Former Brisbane Roar Isaka Cernak is looking forward to having a positive season with North Queensland Fury.

The 21-year old attacking midfielder wants to take his game to another level in Townsville and believes that can be achieved under new Fury coach Franz Straka.

"To score a lot, to play a lot, to set up a lot - I just pretty much want to have a positive season," Cernak told the Townsville Bulletin.

"We played a different kind of formation in Brisbane where I was kind of stuck to the outside and that was one of the big reasons why I've come up here.

"Our coach up here wants us to play really creative, attacking football and that really appeals to me.

"He wants us attacking players to attack. If we have the opportunity to attack, we attack. It's the kind of player I want to be and the kind of football I want to be around.

"It's always team first, whatever's best for the team, but if I've got an opportunity to score I'm definitely going to go for it."
