Central Coast Mariners goalkeeper Mathew Ryan will head to Scotland on Monday to train with Rangers.
The 20-year old star, who has recently been linked with Hull City and Derby County, will spend ten days in Glasgow with the Third Division club.
"I was in Scotland over Christmas spoke with (Rangers Manager) Ally McCoist about Mathew Ryan," Central Coast Mariners General Manager of Football, Lawrie McKinna said.
"It is a credit to Mat and to our Club that Ally was well aware of Mat's ability and potential and immediately offered for him to join Rangers for a training spell.
"Mat is eager to take up the opportunity and we are sure he will learn a lot from the experience."
Two-time A-League Young Player of the Year and last seasons A-League Goalkeeper of the Year will miss the Mariners' clash with Melbourne Victory in Launceston on January 12.
