Central Coast Mariners have granted Alex Wilkinson permission to travel to the Korea Republic to hold talks with K-League club Jeonbuk Hyundai.
The 27-year old centre-back, and Mariners captain, has set off for Asia and will trial with Jeonbuk for seven days after the club invited him over.
Jeonbuk are keen on Wilkinson and the Mariners are committed to allowing the popular defender the opportunity to discuss personal terms and decide whether a move to the K-League may be of interest to him and his family.
