Central Coast Mariners are determined to bounce back against Kawasaki Frontale in the Asian Champions League tonight.
The Mariners were easily beaten 5-0 at home two weeks ago by the Japanese outfit but want to put that performance behind them with a much-improved display in Japan.
"After being skittled 5-0, the boys have been pretty down but we have to get a bit of pride back in our performance," said Mariners coach Lawrie McKinna.
"We have to do that and get some confidence in each other and, after a humiliating defeat, show the Japanese we can play."
After a result like last time, there is no surprise that McKinna will alter his starting line-up in a bid to freshen things up.
"We're going to make a few changes, we have to," he added.
"The boys that have been doing well at training will have their opportunity now after a bad performance it's always boys that put their hands up that can get a spot."
