Celtic boss Ronny Deila says the club will not discipline Lukasz Zaluska after he was involved in an altercation on Monday morning.
The Polish goalkeeper was left with two black eyes after he was assaulted in Glasgow's west end which occurred after Deila had called for his players to take care of themselves away from the club.
Deila says players need to be '24-hour athletes' but did not blame Zaluska for being out late when he was the victim of the attack.
"I have talked with Lukasz and I'm sorry for him because it could be quite scary. But in my opinion he has done nothing wrong," Deila said.
"This is a police matter now and we just have to see what's happening.
"But he is fine now and he is ready for the game, that's the most important thing. He has trained the last two days so that's very good. He was in the hospital and everything was fine."
Of the Zaluska incident, Deila added further: "I don' t know what's behind it and I don't want to have any opinion about it either before I know what's happened. Now the police are on the scene and we will take it from there."
