Celtic are taking a look at Andre Blackman.

Celtic will assess the free agent Blackman over the next fortnight after the 20-year-old impressed in a development match against Rangers on Monday.

"He's a kid who got recommended to us by a friend of ours who runs an academy for players who are out of contract or have had issues in their life," Lennon said.

"Andre's been at Chelsea, Arsenal, Portsmouth and Bristol City among other clubs. He's been out of contract and he told me that was his first game for a year. He did very well. The lad picked up an injury but we're going to keep him here for a couple of weeks."
