Celtic striker Gary Hooper says Chelsea have signed a future star in ex-Hoops junior Islam Feruz.

The kid striker has jumped at the chance of a deal with the Londoners.

And Hooper told the Scottish Sun: "Islam is 16 and he's a very good player. He has quick feet and when he trains with the first team he does really well.

"I was impressed the first time I saw him.

"He's very young but he's trained with us a few times and he wants the ball. Most kids hide but he goes and chases the ball and gets it back, keeps it and does well.

"In a couple of years he'll be a really big star."
