Celtic showing interest in Polonia Warsaw's Wszolek

Polish young gun Pawel Wszolek is attracting interest from Celtic according to SunSport.

The 20-year old midfielder has been starring for Polonia Warsaw this season and it is believed that Hoops boss Neil Lennon could make a move for him in January.

Wszolek has been capped twice by Poland this year and is developing nicely in his homeland which has prompted Celtic to monitor his progress.

Former Celtic striker and Poland international Dariusz Dziekanowski feels perhaps Wszolek may need more time with Polonia but did suggest that the Hoops could pick him up for a bargain if they swoop this winter.

"The question is whether Pawel is ready to take such a step," he said.

"Now might be a good time to transfer because, by the spring, his price might have gone up again."
