Scottish champions Celtic are set to terminate the contract of flop forward Amido Balde.

Express Sport understands that the Guinea-Bissau international is set to terminate his contract with the Hoops that would let him join French club Metz.

The 24-year-old, signed for £1.5million from Portuguese side VitoriaGuimaraes in 2013, is set to sign a two-year deal with the French side after failing to impress for the Bhoys.

Balde spent last season on loan at Belgian club Waasland-Beveren and then with Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel.
