Celtic have sent Mohamed Bangura to Elfsborg on loan.
The 23-year old Sierra Leone international returns to Sweden ahead of the 2013 Allsvenskan season which kicks off in March.
Bangura joined Celtic for £2million from AIK Stockholm in August 2011 but has failed to fire for the Hoops in 13 appearances in all competitions.
He now heads back to the Swedish league where he will remain with Elfsborg on a year-long agreement.
