Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has received a one-match ban for abusing a match official in last weekend's Scottish Cup semi-final loss to Heart of Midlothian.
The 23-year old Irishman has been found guilty of an 'A5 offence' for using 'offensive, insulting and/or abusive language and/or gestures' and will miss his club's first tie of next season's cup competition.
Stokes allegedly abused referee Euan Norris' assistant Willie Conquer late in the match when Hearts had been awarded the eventual match-winning penalty for handball.
An SFA spokesman said: "A report has been submitted and the player has been notified of an A5 offence."
