Celtic striker Scott McDonald will be hoping the team can build on their good performance in the Europa League last night. The Hoops drew 0-0 with Hamburg but it was a much-improved showing and McDonald is keen for the team to use that as a positive when they met Falkirk away on Sunday night, which will be LIVE on Setanta Sports.
Celtic are currently on top of the Scottish Premier League table, three points clear of Hibernian and four points clear of rivals Rangers who have a game in hand.
McDonald said it was now important to push on from a decent performance in Europe and record a solid victory over a team who is yet to taste success so far this term.
"We know we played well in Hamburg and although we didn't get the win, we took a lot of positives out of the match," McDonald told tribalfootball.com.
"Now we have to translate that into the domestic league and produce a strong performance against a Falkirk outfit who definitely have their backs to the wall."
