Celtic's Kayal ready for action after ankle operation

Beram Kayal insists he is ready for a full pre-season for Celtic after recovering from ankle surgery.

The 24-year old Israeli international midfielder missed the second part of last season due to an ankle injury sustained in December before returning for the final game of the campaign but next term is looking to give much more to the Hoops cause.

"I don't want to look back," he told the club's official website "I am happy to be back and I will work hard.

"I am training well and I feel my fitness is getting better now. I want to come back this season and play 100 per cent. I want to help the team.

"I love the fans and I have a very good relationship with them so I always want to do my best for them. Every match I play I want to do well for them, the team and myself."
