Celtic's Forrest wants change of Champions League luck against Ajax

James Forrest would love a little bit of luck for Celtic in their next Champions League fixture.

The Hoops take on Dutch giants Ajax at Parkhead on October 22 following a 2-0 loss to AC Milan in Italy and a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Barcelona last week.

Celtic have been desperately unlucky not to come away with at least a point from either of their two outings and winger Forrest hopes that changes when Ajax come to town following the weekend's league trip to Hibernian.

"There is a league game first and we need to produce a good performance and win three points before we go to the Champions League again," Forrest said.

"Obviously Ajax will be a big game. They will be a good team but if we play the way we have done in the first two games of the section we'll do okay.

"You never know what will happen in football.

"We didn't get the breaks in Milan or the Barca game, so maybe we will against Ajax."
