Celtic summer signing Mohamed Bangura says he will grab his European chance with both hands if it happens to come his way.
The 22-year old Sierra Leone striker made his Hoops debut with a 20-minute cameo in the 4-0 league win over Motherwell on Saturday and is now excited about tomorrow night's opening Europa League group stage match against Atletico Madrid.
Bangura only has a small amount of experience in European competition but insist he is ready to perform on the big stage if Neil Lennon shows faith by selecting him.
"It's really nice to play in European games," he said.
"At the beginning of last season I played for AIK Stockholm in a Champions League qualifier against Rosenborg just days after I signed for them and it was a big disappointment to be knocked out.
"I had only played for 25 minutes as a substitute against Malmo but the manager gave me my first start against Rosenborg and I played a very good game, winning the man of the match award.
"To have the chance to play in the Europa League with Celtic is a nice feeling. I will give my very best.
"I cannot say I am the very best, but I'll give my all to be the very best I can.
"Every player is looking for the opportunity to play against a team like Atletico Madrid.
"If I get that opportunity I need to make the most of it."
