Celtic, Nottingham Forest chasing Brighton striker Glenn Murray

Celtic are chasing Brighton striker Glenn Murray.

The Daily Mail says the English veteran, who has six months left on his current deal, is also attracting interest from English Championship side Nottingham Forest.

The Hoops could be next to enter the frame though for the 35-year-old on loan with Neil Lennon desperate to bolster his attacking force.

Odsonne Edouard has been heavily relied upon as much people know, with backup men Leigh Griffiths and Vakoun Bayo out of the frame.

The Seagulls star scored 15 goals last term but has only managed a solitary goal this season, which came against Bristol Rovers in the cup.

Head coach, Graham Potter, admitted he would understand if the former Crystal Palace frontman expressed a desire to move mid-season.
